The Kiwanis International Organization is focused on serving children of the world. The club’s common mission is to change the world, one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Granville is an active volunteer organization, performing community service and raising funds for charities that support young children and youth, as well as improving our community.
The Kiwanis Club of Granville has been serving children and others since 1963. This club of dedicated and generous volunteers, guided by the Golden Rule, provides humanitarian service and support to children in Granville and Licking County, as well as various community service activities including the 4-day Granville 4th of July Celebration, Parade and Fireworks. The club also serves children throughout the world through select international service projects and fundraisers.
Eligibility Guidelines
1. Preference will be given to projects benefiting Licking County, primarily Granville 2. The recipient may be a 501(c)(3) organization or a public educational institution. 3. Project-related expenses (We do not normally fund requests for general operating expenses or salary.) 4. Preference will be given to programs that focus on the needs of children, young children, youth/teens and disabled/challenged/people in need.
Application Deadlines
The deadline for receipt of funding applications is March 31st, June 30th, Sept 30th, and December 31st of each year. Receipt of your application will be acknowledged. We will review these applications on a timely basis and will advise the applicants of our decisions by: April 31st, July 31st, October 31st, and January 31st.
